Lakeshore, Mich.
The Lakeshore franchise recently supported Legal Aid of Western Michigan, a group that gives legal help to those who cannot afford it.
Sometimes, even with our best efforts, Legal Aid just cannot do what the client needs done and often we look to other agencies and organizations in the community to pick up and help when our efforts are not successful. That happened in a recent case in our Berrien County office and the help came, not from another human service agency, but from a group of big-hearted businessmen.
Despite the best efforts of the Legal Aid attorney, an especially needy client was facing eviction. The efforts of Legal Aid and the courts had given her extra time, but her time had run out. She had no resources – no money, no family or friends to help her move, no place except the shelter to go. Hearing about her plight, TWO MEN AND A TRUCK® stepped forward and volunteered their labor and truck to help move her belongings to safe storage!
Legal Aid thanks these generous men for going the extra mile!

I just wanted to thank you for moving my mother's apartment furniture yesterday. You guys did a great job in a move with multiple steps and my wife, Sally, and brother, Bob, said you executed it beautifully. I will be sure to refer your company if I know of others who need moving.
